It’s not a crime to be laid off so quit telling yourself that.

Self esteem is the intangible that determines all else. Millions are with you in the same leaking boat of job search waiting to be rescued by a Job Offer. The criminal justice system can’t possibly prosecute everyone. There is a certain pleasure in thought revenge. Our work ethic taught us to work hard and be dedicated. Then the bottom fell out. The rug is yanked out from under us.

But the sooner we refuse to “own” the unemployment stigma, the stronger we will be.  As soon as we exercise our self esteem by taking action, the stronger we will become.
