HOW ARE BLOGGERS DOCUMENTING THE RECESSION?
Are you familiar with Popurls.com? If not, it’s one of the handful of sites you can go to in order to get an all around feel for what’s posted on the most popular sites across this worldwide web of ours. At first it seems like an overwhelming amount of information in one space but in actuality it’s synthesized and structured into readable columns and rows making popurls a great way to get an overall picture of what people are talking about, without visiting ~900 sites separately. This was the inspiration for my new creation… Recession Blogs (http://www.recessionblogs.tumblr.com), which is powered by Tumblr because hey, we’re in the middle of a recession, so personalized URL’s aren’t in the budget.
Recession Blogs allows you to follow 15 (as of now) of the top recession bloggers in realtime via their tweets, all in an easy to read format. The 16th box is conveniently held for TwitterJobSearch so you can find a job all while checking on your fellow 405ers and other recession casualty bloggers.
Stay tuned to http://www.recessionblogs.tumblr.com as it will continue to grow with more features, becoming the loving home of the best recession bloggers.
