The Comic Strip Live, on Second Avenue between 81st and 82nd Streets, is offering free admission for up to 6 guests for Thursday’s “Comedy Caliente” Latin-American comedy night.

Hosting the show will be Angelo Lozada, founder of Nuyorican Rule. Among the performers are: Dustin Ybarra, Mike Britt, Mark Viera, Sherrod Small, Justin McKinney, and JJ Ramirez — featured in the film “The Latin Legends of Comedy” and affectionately known as “The Latin Lunatic”.

To get your free admission, make a reservation and tell them you’re on “Pedro’s list”. While a two-drink minimum still applies, the free admission is a savings of $25 per person. After a week of pounding the keyboard, in my quest to find employment, I’m ready for some hearty laughs and something cold to wash them down.
