FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE DAY.

Do you have a daughter in debt who is still financially dependant? Are you a female in debt who would be willing to get advice from a finance coach and your parents in order to be liberated from creditors calling you?
According to some of the e-mails I received after a previous post, a few of you are. That’s why Soapnet and BBC Worldwide America, Inc., have teamed up to help young women and their parents tackle their debt in a new reality series called BANK OF MOM AND DAD.
The show, which originally aired in the UK, aims to assist young women in their 20s and 30s finally face their financial crisis with the help of their parents and financial consultant Farnoosh Torabi.
In order to help their daughter change the way she handles her finances, parents are required to move in with their daughter for five days to help facilitate Ms. Torabi’s directive.
I’m currently searching the New York Tri-State and Philadelphia areas for parents whose daughter needs a financial makeover.
So, to receive more information on how to participate, parents and daughters should e-mail their name, age, location, phone/email and brief summary of their situation to: cweissman@bbcnyproduction.com.
CASTING CRITERIA:
*Daughters MUST live in NY / NJ / CT/ Philly (or close to Philly)
*Daughters MUST NOT currently live with parents
*Both parents (or step parents) must be willing to take part in the show
*Daughters must be between 24-34 yrs. old
