CNN: Unemployed and homeless, woman urges senator to help.

Alexandra Jarrin, a 99er and former New Yorker who is homeless and staying at a friend’s home in Vermont, took on the task of printing letters sent by 99ers and other UI exhaustees and delivering them to Senator Bernie Sanders’ office (see previous post).

Many of the letters came from New York. “I will hand deliver the letters every day until this is over,” she stated earlier this week. “Whether I have one letter or thousands of letters, I will take them to the local office of Bernie Sanders and show him and his staff that we are standing up and asking him to speak up for all of us.”
